The Holiness of Jerusalem in Christianity
We will take a tour following the last week of Jesus- the Holy Week - in which the events that shaped the holiness of Jerusalem and made it 'The Holy City' for 2 billion Christians around the world who wish to come and follow Jesus footsteps.
Options:
- A spectacular view from the Mount of Olives.
- A visit to the churches built on the slopes of the Mount of Olives and depicting the last days of Jesus.
- A walk along the stations of the "The Way of the Cross" - Via Dolorosa, where Jesus walked while carrying the cross on his back.
- A visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher - the place of Jesus' crucifixion, burial and resurrection!!
- A visit to 'Mount Zion' and the room of the 'Last Supper'.
- A visit to the Church of the Dormition - the place of the eternal sleep of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
- A visit to Mary's tomb in the Kidron Valley.
